GATE exam preparation is hard. We can help.
We rebuilt the actual GATE interface — question palette, timer, MCQ/MSQ/NAT types, and negative marking — and loaded it with 36 years of real previous year papers. Take any year's paper end to end and get an instant, section-wise score just like the real result.
Practice PYQs subject-wise instead of a full paper — pick a subject like Algorithms, Operating Systems, or DBMS (GATE CS/IT today, with more branches on the way) and work through every previous year question on it at your own pace, until that topic stops being your weak spot.

GATE test series questions, answered.
Gate In Place is a GATE test series built on real previous year papers. You can sit full-length papers from past GATE years in an exam interface that mirrors the real one, with the question palette, timer, MCQ, MSQ and NAT questions and negative marking, or practise previous year questions one subject at a time.
GATE CS, ECE, EE, ME and CE. How much is available differs by branch today — each branch page shows how many papers and questions we have, and the full syllabus by subject and topic, even before you sign up.
Creating an account is free and starts a 14-day trial with everything open. After that, a pass is a single payment with no auto-renewal: the GATE 2027 Pass is ₹249 and the GATE 2028 Pass is ₹449 (on sale from March 2027), both including GST. Our first 1,000 students get everything free until GATE 2027. One account works across every branch, so you can take the papers and practise the questions of any department, not only the branch you study.
The platform is built around 36 years of GATE previous year papers. Every paper we add is reviewed before it goes live, and each one shows its answer key and explanations. The branch pages list the papers that are available right now.
A GATE paper has 65 questions for 100 marks in 3 hours: 15 marks of General Aptitude and 85 marks of the core subject. A wrong multiple-choice answer costs one third of the question's marks (1/3 for a 1-mark question, 2/3 for a 2-mark question). Multiple-select and numerical-answer questions have no negative marking.
Yes. Take any full paper end to end with the real 3-hour timer, with or without breaks, and get an instant score with a section-wise breakdown and an estimated GATE score, computed the way GATE computes a result.
Yes. Subject-wise practice lets you work through every previous year question for a subject or topic, for example Operating Systems and then CPU Scheduling, at your own pace with no timer, while tracking how accurate you are.
No. Reading a question, its answer key or its explanation needs a free account. Without one you can see how many questions each subject has, and browse the full official syllabus by branch, subject and topic, before you decide to sign up.
